Family Bible School: Friday, July 14th – 16th

Hear Ye, Hear Ye! Come One, Come All! Excitement and adventure await at Family Bible School!

This year, Vacation Bible School is for the whole family – that’s why we’re calling it Family Bible School! Register your family for a weekend of medieval merriment and practical lessons from God’s Word!

After feasting on fine victuals and viewing the highly anticipated drama in the Great Hall (Gym) together as a family each day, bid farewell to your children as they go on a quest for truth with this year’s AnswersVBS curriculum. They’ll even engage in a Water War!

Adults and teens will get to choose classes from three highly relevant topics across six sessions. We’ll conclude the weekend with a Royal Fun Faire before we depart equipped with the armor of God to stand strong in today’s battle for truth!

FAQ

How much will FBS cost?

It will cost $10 to register your family up until June 30th. After that, registration price will increase to $15. T-Shirts are optional and will cost $5. Everything else is included in your registration!

Are parents required to attend?

Parents are required to attend the opening and closing assemblies each day. We greatly encourage you to attend one of three classes of your choosing, but they are not mandatory. If you have a child under 4 years old, we do ask that you remain on campus with us.

Do I have to have a family in order to attend the classes for parents and teens?

No! If you’re interested in joining the classes and meals, we would love to have you join us.

Will nursery be available?

Nursery is available for ages 2 & under for those whose parents/guardians will be on-campus for the entire conference. We do have a limit on how many we can take so we will be prioritizing nursery for any volunteers, after that, it’s first come first serve!

I can’t can’t attend; can I drop my kids off?

We understand that it may be difficult for parents to attend with their children. However, we do require a guardian to be with them during the meal and drama (assembly times). Have a grandparent or family friend that can take your place? List them as a guardian in our registration form.

What classes will be available for parents and teens?

We will have 3 “tracks” of classes for you and your teen to choose from. Two tracks were designed for parents and one track was designed of teens, but you are welcome to choose any class that’s most interesting to you!

How wet will my kid get during the water wars?

Bring a change of clothes and maybe an extra towel for the car.

Do parents have to participate in any of the games or craft time?

No! We have lessons available to you during those times.

Should I attend or volunteer?

We want to encourage any parents to attend rather than volunteer. With parents making up a large part of our volunteer force in years past, we’re praying that God would nudge others to take their place this year but we may still need some parents to volunteer.

Will we still raise money and take donations?

Yes! We’re happy to support a local ministry called Faith Xtreme. They help at-risk families in our area to build their lives around God’s Word. This year, we’ll be helping sponsor students to go to Camp Gilead!

Do I have to attend Faith Baptist Church in order to attend this?

No! We welcome anyone to join us as we learn from God’s Word together.
