The past two Wednesday evenings Pastor Osborne continued in his sermon series entitled The Dark Side. He preached part 1 and part 2 of a message from Psalm 139:13-18 entitled Thoughts for Those Yet Unborn. He concluded with these three thoughts:
- Since we do not originate the life of the unborn, we do not have the right to end it.
- Since we do not know the plan God has for unborn children, we must allow that plan to take place.
- Since our thoughts are not God’s thoughts and we cannot even imagine the purposes God has for the unborn child, then we must have faith in an all-knowing, all-powerful, everywhere present God.
For you formed my inward parts;
You knitted me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Psalm 139:13-14a (ESV)
