VBS is over. The summer doldrums are officially here. Children are bored and it is crazy hot outside. However, do not fear! Help is on the way! Music Camp 2015 is right around the corner.
This year’s Music Camp will be August 3-7, with our final performance held on Sunday night, August 9th. As you might be able to tell from the image above, our Music Camp program is about the story of Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
What is Music Camp?
Music Camp is a fast paced week. During the week, the children will learn an entire musical and then perform it at the end of the week. This year’s production has lots of exciting singing. There is no drama or acting. However, there are numerous narration/speaking parts that we plan to divide up between the children. Like usual, there will also be lots of fun ‘extra’ parts that we add in for excitement.
How much does it cost?
Music Camp is for children who have finished grades 1-6. It costs $20 for each child. Additional children from the same family are only $10/each. Each family will receive a book & CD of the musical which they can use to practice with at home. Each child will receive their own Music Camp T-Shirt. We also have a pizza party for lunch on Friday of Music Camp.
