Everybody loves Top Ten lists.  So, here is a list of the Top Ten Articles we posted on our website in 2014.  There is no scientific method that was used to select these posts.  These are just my personal top ten posts.  Here they are in no particular order.

1. Life is a Big Deal – Posted in January, this post attempted to raise awareness about Abortion in our own community.
2. Are Your Assumptions Killing Our Church? – Posted in August, this post provided a ‘real life’ case study on the dangerous path of assumptions.
3. Three Lessons on My 33rd Birthday – In this post, I shared three simple lessons that I have learned over the past 33 years.
4. Three Thanksgiving Thoughts – In this recent post, Pastor Osborne shared some practical wisdom from Ephesians 5:20.
5. You Can Be Productive, Efficient, and God-Centered – This post highlighted one of the best books I read in 2014.  You should read this post and you should read the book it highlights.
6. Why a Fine Arts Academy? – In this post, from February, I tried to explain some of the rationale behind our Fine Arts Academy.
7. Four ‘Priceless’ Birthday Gifts for Esther – In my opinion, this post is a ‘must read’ for any father.  In it, I encourage dads to give ‘priceless’ gifts to their children.
8. 45 Years of Marital Joy – In this post, from June, I celebrate the wedding anniversary of a couple in our church and look at why their marriage is so successful.
9. Jennifer Taylor ~ A Beautiful Life – God called Jennifer home in 2014.  I still miss her smiling face around the church office.  This post was a short tribute to her life.
10. Five Reminders from My Son (who is in Heaven) – This post may be the hardest thing I have ever written.   I closed it with this,

“Remember this, life is not always easy – but God is always good.”
